Just recently I have discovered some really lovely simple digi stamps from Alipeeps Art.
Her stamps are lovely I have previously shown my colouring of the Starry-Eyed stamp here on my blog.
The one I am at colouring at present is called Smile, to me she has an air of mystery about her.
My colouring isn't quite finished but I'm getting there, then I will of course have to embellish her.
On here you will find examples of my passion crafting, in whatever shape or form it comes in. I have had a go at most crafts and constantly try to find new ways to show what I can create.

Drawing in Craft artist
Well today I haven't had a lot of time to craft but I have managed to make a little picture using my beloved Serif Craft Artist.
I watched a You tube video on how to draw a snowman using adobe illustrator and I thought I know I can't do all the things that they do but I can do some of them.
So when I could grab half an hour on the computer I decided to have a go.
Here's what I came up with, I know its not fancy but its a start.

New challenge time at Creative Moments
Well the last fortnight has flown by and I know I have to start the countdown to Christmas.
The challenge this fortnight is being sponsored by A Day for Daisies and the theme is vintage.
This week I combined my love of digital crafting with my new found passion for colouring with markers, I'm also trying to use up some of my old stash so also added some peel off details.
I'm thrilled with how the card has turned out.
Don't forget to pop along and check out more of the DT's inspiration and enter yourself by clicking the Creative moments link on the left.
Or if you wish to purchase the digi stamp Starry-Eyed why not pop along to Stitchy bear stamps to get yours by clicking here

New challenge time at Artistic Inspirations
Well its new challenge time at Artistic Inspirations
our sponsor is
Doctor Digi
Dare I mention the C word yet in my house we don't start to think about Christmas normally till 1st December but this year my two little peeps are starting to get into it, probably due to the amount of adverts on TV lol.
I love this fab digi of Santa as it features the naughty or nice sentiment that I keep saying to the boys, at the moment my eldest who is just four thinks he's only getting a piece of coal as he keeps being naughty.
This card measures 8"x8" the background was made in Craft Artist including adding the uncoloured digi stamp, I then coloured Santa and added some peel off stars and dots and adorned a few of them with gems.
I think the card has turned out quite nice and going forward I am going to be trying to use up more of my crafty stash before I allow myself to buy anymore (the only things I will be buying are white cardstock and glue)
Why not pop along and see what the rest of the DT have created and also enter the challenge by clicking the Artistic Inspirations link on the left

Personal challenge
Over on Facebook we were set the challenge to use our least fave colours.
My least fave colours are orange/green so here's my creation, I have used a beautiful digi stamp by Alipeeps Art (Starry-Eyed) which you can purchase here from the Stitchy Bear Store
I only have three green pens and they are all from different colour families so they don't blend so on this one to colour her hair I've used pear green and layered it, and in places blended it with some cool grey 3, I think it looks ok
Here is the same image with orange/peach hair and slightly different shade of green for background I've also changed some of the flowers too

As much as I loved the project at this stage I felt she needed blinging up a little more so I got out one of the few dies I have which is the joy vintage flourishes and delved into my sacred stash of creata dark mirri and found the dark green (its sacred as it doesn't last long enough I love dark colours)

Colouring Another fabulous stamp from Scrappers Delights
I think I am becoming addicted to colouring with my Promarkers, as soon as the boys go to bed out come the pens.
This weekend just gone I have been working on several projects 3 of which featured digi stamps from Scrappers Delights.
The first is a scrapbook 12"x12" layout I cut the word out of the red card and and added a cream layer behind, I completed the layout with a red haired Wood Elfling which you can purchase here

The next two projects feature E-MeOw Girls Minxy 1 which you can purchase here.
This image was a bit of a challenge as I have never coloured curls before so I wasn't totally sure how to treat them I watched many videos on You Tube to try and gain some insight in how to deal with them.
The first version I attempted black hair for the second time, I am quite thrilled with how she turned out, but I have to be honest with you all she nearly got thrown in the bin about half way through as I had coloured where her leggings/stockings are in flesh tones, fortunately the shaded blacks/greys that I used to colour her stockings seemed to cover my mistakes. Looking at her outfit she looks a little goth/emo to me so I added a black background.
I then coloured a second stamp of her but gave her red hair and darker shorts, I would love to have given her a purple top but as yet I don't have any purple toned promarkers.
Here she is on the same black background
Although I love this background I wasn't totally sure so I then coloured a third stamp in the same colours and added her to a background that was covered in cupcakes
What do you all think?

The Stamping Chef monthly challenge freebie
After numerous problems I finally managed to get my TSC monthly blog challenge freebie printed out.
http://thestampingchef.com/Blog/
Craftitude - Anything Goes/Falling Leaves
Happy Campers - Glitter It
It's only when you start to colour it you realise how much detail is in the stamp, I'm so glad I printed it A5 size.
Taking my inspiration from all the keep calm posters around I coloured round the text in red. I love everything glittery so had to get some in somewhere on this card my only real option was to glitter the wording.
I'm reasonably happy with how it turned out.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges

A little more colouring
Just recently I have discovered a few new sources of beautiful digi stamps.
Here is one from Scrappers delights that I have really loved colouring. She is called Wood Elfling and you can purchase yours here
As you may all be aware I am new to colouring with promarkers I've only really been using them for a few weeks, having previously favoured digital colouring.
Here is the second one where I added some glitter glue for her earring and and soft bow in her hair

As I am new to colouring I still only have a limited pallet so I set myself a challenge of only using 6 colours plus the blender pen, below is my result and I love it so much
I've made this up into a card but forgot to take a picture I'm hoping the recipient may put a photo up on facebook so others can see how I used her

New Challenge at Anonymous Stamps
I can't believe how fast this year is going and that the third challenge is about to start at Anonymous Stamps.
The theme this time is Dream State and as usual any project can be submitted as long as it fits the theme.
I have chosen the fab mermaid digi stamp which you can purchase here.
To enter the challenge you can either click on the Anonymous Stamps logo to the left of this post or click here
I think she already looks dreamy I wonder if she's dreaming of prince charming or going somewhere cooler, I did toy with the idea of adding a dream bubble with a Christmas scene on.
Here are a few of my creations, I'm not sure which one I like the best, I just know I had fun playing with her.
I am really tempted to print this onto transfer paper and put on a black t-shirt as it is so unusual
But just to show how versatile digi stamps are here is a close up of the head and shoulders only of the same stamp
I would like to submit these cards into the following challenges

New challenge at artistic inspirations
Well it's that time of the week again new challenge time.
Our brief this week was to add a sentiment, I struggled at first with this as nothing was coming to me then just as I was drifting to sleep late on Saturday night the sentiment came to me.
It's a classic Bob Dylan lyric
"The answer my friend is blowin in the wind" which seemed kind of appropriate given the image is about blowing his paper windmill.
I would be thrilled to hear what you all think of my card.

Playing with Besties freebie
I'm so late in blogging this card I actually made it last week but am only just finding time to blog it.
The digi is a free Sherri Baldy stamp which I have coloured I have then mounted thus into some red and gold patterned paper which was then placed on some embossed black(the photo doesn't show it but it has embossed stripes on), and finally onto a patterned card

Fab freebie available from Anonymous Stamps
Well here's a short but sweet post from me today.
Last night I was told about a couple of digi stamps that were going to be free, obviously I couldn't wait to get my hands on them.
I thought the penguin image would make a great DL card so printed it out and set about colouring it with my promarkers I'm still trying to get to grips with them.
I then cut out the sentiment and added it along with some glitter on the stars and some cosmic shimmer dots for the snow flakes.
Not content with just colouring with my promarkers I also did a digital version
If you would like to grab your freebie why not head on over
