Artistic Inspirations One layer only Challenge

This week I got to make one of my favourite styles of card a one layer only for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations.

As a digital crafter I love to make faux layers so this challenge really suited my crafting style.

Our sponsors were digi stamps 4 joy

I chose a tulip design.  I am not normally a fan of flowers or colouring flowers so this was a challenge for me.

I am really thrilled with how the card turned out.

Anonymous Stamps

 

Anonymous stamps are proud to announce that their all new anything goes challenge will be launching tonight (23rd September 2013).  The theme this month is "Colour me Happy"

This challenge runs from September 23rd-October 18th

 

Be sure to submit your makes to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize!!

(Any type of project can be entered in the challenge as long as it fits the challenge theme, it doesn't always have to be a card.)

This challenge will be open to participants worldwide and is also open to makes using stamps from any source not just Anonymous Stamps.

Here are my projects, I have digitally coloured each flower and on the largest flowers I have coloured each petal individually, it really was a labour of love and took me about four hours just to colour all the flowers.

This is a table lattern which holds electric tea lights

This is a 8"x8" canvas which I have printed and then added some bling to it has pride of place on my lounge wall at moment

Sassy witch

Well like most of my best creative ideas this one came to me in the middle of the night.

It seemed like a good idea when I started but after four attempts at cutting the cobweb out of acetate I nearly gave up, but finally I got there.

Frame it Challenge

Todays blog post is for the Creative Moments challenge blog.

We had the theme of "Frame it" and our sponsors were Eureka Stamps.

As several friends have recently had babies I took this as my inspiration for the card I made.

I coloured the heart stamp and then decoupaged it.

Frame it Challenge

Well here's my second project for the Artistic Inspirations Challenge Blog.

We had the challenge theme of Frame it, so using the frame I decided to do some paper piecing with faux stitching.  For the background I did a little stencilling.  It's the first time I've really explored making DL cards I tend to prefer square cards.

Sassy Witch

Well this week has been pretty hectic and just realised that I haven't blogged much, I have been busy crafting but not had the time to blog my makes.

My major project this week has been to create a mini album for a friend.

But another of my little makes has been a Halloween inspired lantern using the fab witch digi stamp from sassy stamps and some old text card which I think gives it a shabby old feel.

The most time consuming part of this whole project was cutting and scoring all the lantern parts.
