Excited

Well I was looking through the blogs I like and have just found out I have a featured card over at Make it Monday never had this before so excited.

Another reason for my excitement is that tomorrow I can finally reveal on of the projects I have been working on and share some exciting news (Well to me it's exciting).

Clean and simple card using delicious doodles image

Well today I got to make one of my favourite styles of card a clean and simple with lots of white space and minimal embellishments.  This is my favourite style as I post a lot of my cards and here in the uk posting bulkier items costs more now.

I have used a delicious doodle digi stamp to create the card, but as I didn't want to add any embellishments to the card I made the focal image black and white and only coloured selected areas to really make them stand out.

New home card

Well a couple of my friends have moved into new homes over the weekend so it made me start to think about cards that I could send.

A couple of months ago I made some samples that were to be used to launch CAP2 in Germany, one of which was a new home card.

So I pulled up my design here it is with the tag in German,

Emma Canning Digi Stamp

Well this morning has seen me colouring a Emma Canning Digi stamp for a challenge over at Polkadoodles.

The theme is hearts so I found a beautiful random heart/gingham background the I have coloured and added my digi on top.

Miley Glamoureyes bedtime sentiment card

Well I have been reading various blogs all afternoon, and learning of card challenges that I wouldn't normally have known about had I not read the blogs.

One challenge really caught my eye it was using a sentiment on a card, well my youngest doesn't sleep very well, he never has, so I find myself singing various rhymes I find on the internet most nights.  The one on this card really grabbed my attention.

So I set about creating a background paper, then some embellishments, I would really like to thank Birds Cards for her beautiful cutting files, she never ceases to amaze me with her creations and generosity.  I added an inked edge and then printed the rhyme on to it.  I then used a fab free digi stamp from Glamoureyes called Miley.

I am really thrilled with the final card hope you all like it too

Quote for the day

Here's a card  I designed awhile ago but never got around to blogging it.

I love the quote without change there would be no butterflies, so many times in my life I have had to remind myself of this.

Another Stamping Dragon Designs card

I've been colouring and paper piecing again today using the fab freebie from Stamping Dragon Designs monthly colouring competition. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/427447597324391/)

I've tried to use colours outside my comfort zone and love how her hair has turned out.
