Beautiful digi from The Stamping Chef

Well this week saw many birthday cards being made.

My hubby and his brother in law share the same birthday and sometimes a similar sense of humour, so I got to work making a card for each of them..

I love the cheekyness of this stamp form The Stamping Chef.  I wish I had the funds to purchase all of Tamara's stamps they are fantastic.

I coloured it using my limited pallet of Graphit pens and layered it onto a background I created in Craft Artist.

There were so many fab images to choose from and I instantly fell in love with this cute little dragon.

As you all know I love my digi crafting so once again combined my love of digi with my love of colouring.  All the backgrounds were created in serif craft artist

I coloured them all using a combination of my alcohol pens I have a few of each as not sure yet which I prefer. (Promarkers, Spectrum Noir, Graphit) The final touch was to add my favourite element Glitter.

New Challenge over at Artistic Inspirations

It's new challenge time over at Artistic Inspirations and this week it is being sponsored by

The theme this week was add some ribbon/anything goes.

I chose the fantasy castle in the clouds image and coloured it using my promarkers and flex markers and of course one of my cards wouldn't be complete without some bling so I added some glitter to the roof and spires also a little on the clouds, perfect for a little princess

I'm really pleased with how it turned out as at first I really struggled with how to use this image.

Just Some Lines

Just some lines are offering a Shop Voucher.

I loved this little ballerina she is part of a set, the text is also a stamp.  

The stamp inspired my card frame as it mentions swirling and turning I thought I would add some swirl embellishments with a few jewels.  I first coloured her using my promarkers in traditional pink colours and added a few glitter high lights but then started looking through my card stash and realised I didn't have the right shade of pink to go with so I then coloured her using peach tones instead

Here's my inspiration for the challenge

As we have a lot of birthdays in my house in January I picked the birthday cake Sassy Image.

 I'm still trying to make the effort and colour with my Promarkers and I think slowly but surely my colouring is improving, I can't wait to show you a couple of projects that I have been working on that I am very proud of.
