Camper van stamp by Anonymous Stamps

Well today I have coloured a new stamp from Anonymous Stamps, I loved this camper van as soon as I saw it and couldn't wait to purchase it and get colouring.

Think this one is going to look awesome on a black bag / cushion / t-shirt.

Anonymous Stamps

I have been drooling at all the picture frames that have a final initial stuck to the class and that is stylised, so when I saw this fab digital stamp from Anonymous Stamps I just knew what I wanted to make.  As the design is so delicate in places it wasn't possible to cut it out on my blackcat, but I thought of a way round it I reverse printed it on Safmat and stuck the image on to the reverse of the glass.

I am thrilled with the finished item, the beauty of having a clear glass picture is that when I move it from one room to another, that has different colour paint, I get a new picture.

For the benefit of the photo I placed a white sheet behind to make the image stand out but when its in my lounge near the window the design really does stand out.

My next item to get a makeover using this terrific monodoodle is going to be one of my pillow cases, I will upload picture later.

 



Not alot of crafting done today

Today has seen me do very little crafting spent loads of quality time with family.

I have plenty to be getting on with, so must knuckle down to it tomorrow evening.

I have done a little colouring using my present from hubby.  It's a wonderful gadget that makes colouring easier eventually but takes some getting used to.

Well CAS is definitely my type of card making and today I have made a couple of new baby cards using a free digi stamp which you can get here, I haven't added the water droplets as it didn't quite fit with the scheme I had in mind.

Todays one layer card

Today I have done some more colouring and then created a card with faux layers, I love single layer cards so much easier to post.

Believe it or not my digital colouring probably takes as long as traditional colouring but unlike traditional colouring all is not lost when I make a mistake, which happens more frequently than I would like.

As I got married in the autumn I decided to make a wedding card with a difference, I used autumnal tones.

Can finally reveal

Well after numerous knockbacks I can happily reveal I have been accepted as a DT member over at creative moments, I can't tell you how thrilled I am.  There were days when I thought I would never get there.

Well the group run a challenge every fortnight and the theme for this month was this picture

 

We also had the option to use a digital stamp from the very talented Delicious Doodles.

 

 

I looked at the picture and the first thing that struck me was the distressed look on the vase/stool.  I also for one of my canvas' took the brown colour as my inspiration.

Excited

Well I was looking through the blogs I like and have just found out I have a featured card over at Make it Monday never had this before so excited.

Another reason for my excitement is that tomorrow I can finally reveal on of the projects I have been working on and share some exciting news (Well to me it's exciting).

Clean and simple card using delicious doodles image

Well today I got to make one of my favourite styles of card a clean and simple with lots of white space and minimal embellishments.  This is my favourite style as I post a lot of my cards and here in the uk posting bulkier items costs more now.

I have used a delicious doodle digi stamp to create the card, but as I didn't want to add any embellishments to the card I made the focal image black and white and only coloured selected areas to really make them stand out.

New home card

Well a couple of my friends have moved into new homes over the weekend so it made me start to think about cards that I could send.

A couple of months ago I made some samples that were to be used to launch CAP2 in Germany, one of which was a new home card.

Emma Canning Digi Stamp

Well this morning has seen me colouring a Emma Canning Digi stamp for a challenge over at Polkadoodles.

The theme is hearts so I found a beautiful random heart/gingham background the I have coloured and added my digi on top.

Miley Glamoureyes bedtime sentiment card

Well I have been reading various blogs all afternoon, and learning of card challenges that I wouldn't normally have known about had I not read the blogs.

One challenge really caught my eye it was using a sentiment on a card, well my youngest doesn't sleep very well, he never has, so I find myself singing various rhymes I find on the internet most nights.  The one on this card really grabbed my attention.

So I set about creating a background paper, then some embellishments, I would really like to thank Birds Cards for her beautiful cutting files, she never ceases to amaze me with her creations and generosity.  I added an inked edge and then printed the rhyme on to it.  I then used a fab free digi stamp from Glamoureyes called Miley.

I am really thrilled with the final card hope you all like it too

Another Stamping Dragon Designs card

I've been colouring and paper piecing again today using the fab freebie from Stamping Dragon Designs monthly colouring competition. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/427447597324391/)

I've tried to use colours outside my comfort zone and love how her hair has turned out.

Stamping Dragon Designs

Well a few nights ago I discovered a new to me facebook group called Stamping Dragon Designs.

They run challenges but unlike other groups they reward you for participating with loyalty points and eventually when you have sufficient points you then get money to spend in their online shop which I think is a fantastic incentive to join in and showcase your skills.

One of their challenges this month is to colour in a really cute Christmas elf

Delicious Doodles

Well it's been a couple of days since I last blogged.

My first card made from a sketch

Well today I made my first card for a DT call using a sketch never crafted this way before so was a good challenge.

The papers/layers were all made in CAP and the fabulous digital stamp was also digitally coloured in cap and printed out
